STIKI Malang Successfully Holds Second Volume of Student Scientific Conference with Hundreds of Participants from Abroad
Malang Kota – In collaboration with the Research and Community Service Unit (LPPM) and the Global Partnership and Public Communication Unit (KGKP), STIKI Malang has achieved significant success in organizing the 2nd International Student Conference in 2023. With the theme “Leveraging For Effective E-Learning,” the conference proved to be a fascinating and inspiring event for the development of knowledge among students.
The 2nd International Student Conference, led by Arif Tirtana, S.Kom., M.Kom., and Addin Aditya, S.Kom., M.Kom., with Datik Setyoaji, S.Si., as the Vice Chairman, enhanced the event, making it more vibrant and engaging compared to its inception in 2022. In an interview with the organizer, Mr. Arif, he explained that the ISC serves as a platform for students to publish scientific articles and deliver scientific speeches through presentations in parallel sessions.
The Q&A session with Keynote Speakers at ISC 2023
According to Arif, this edition of ISC was thoughtfully designed and attracted participants from 5 countries, with 60 submitted papers. The event was witnessed by 249 non-presenter participants, a significant increase from 2022, with 18 submitted articles. Foreign partners involved in this event include Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology and Chitkara University from India, Universiti Teknologi Mara Cawangan Kedah from Malaysia, and Tarlac Agricultural University, IloIlo Science And Technology, and Technological University of the Philippines from the Philippines. Additionally, Cambodia University of Technology and Science also participated.
Domestic partners, such as Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia in Lampung and Institut Teknologi Bisnis Asia in Malang, contributed to creating a multicultural and knowledge-rich atmosphere. ISC featured an impressive series of events, starting from the opening, greetings from international and domestic partner universities of STIKI Malang, to keynote speakers presented by representatives of partner universities. The highlight of the event was the parallel session for student scientific speeches, providing a unique moment for participants, namely students, to share knowledge and ideas.

- Wang Li – Universiti Teknologi Mara, Cawangan Kedah, Malaysia
Additionally, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia was announced as the university with the highest participant attendance, concluding the event on a festive note. The success of ISC in presenting an effective e-learning concept and building strong international networks made all involved parties proud.
The 2nd ISC was held on December 5, 2023, creating valuable memories and establishing a new milestone in the journey of student scientific conferences. This success serves as a strong foundation for organizing future ISC series, further strengthening STIKI Malang’s position as an educational institution committed to global knowledge and technology development, as well as collaboration with other partner universities.
