STIKI Malang Opens Opportunities for International Collaboration with Harambee University Ethiopia to Foster Educational Collaboration in the Future

Malang City – The Indonesian School of Informatics and Computer (STIKI) Malang has successfully established a promising international partnership with Harambee University, Ethiopia, East Africa. This activity is part of the International Public Lecture and MOU Signing event organized by Universitas Merdeka Malang and attended by various university partners.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between STIKI Malang and Harambee University is a first step towards closer cooperation in the field of education. Through this MoU, the two educational institutions are committed to working together in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service.

This activity was not only attended by STIKI Malang and Harambee University, but also attended by several other universities, such as Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang, STIE Malang Kucecwara, and Hang Tuah University Surabaya. The purpose of this activity is to open up opportunities for wider collaboration between university partners.

The signing of this MoU was officially carried out by Datik Setyoaji, S.Si, Coordinator of Global Partnership, as a representative of STIKI Malang, and Dr. Bekele Shibru, as a representative of Harambee University. This step is expected to open up opportunities for wider and more beneficial collaboration for both institutions.

STIKI Malang is very hopeful that this partnership will open the door to deeper collaboration with Harambee University, especially in terms of student exchange, joint curriculum development, and various other initiatives that will benefit both parties.
