After following the recruitment process of 3rd Batch of SEA-TVET Student Internship Exchange Program, three students of STIKI Malang have selected to participate in the program on February 2019. The students being selected are Agnes Nola Sekar Kinasih of Informatics Department, Hanie Welda Modesty and Azrul Hamzah of Visual Communication Design Department. They are going to have their internship at Politeknik Ungku Omar, Malaysia for 30-days, starts from 17 February – 16 March 2019.
Meanwhile, STIKI receives two students from Politeknik Metro Tasek Gelugor, Malaysia in collaboration with Politeknik Ungku Omar, Malaysia. The students are Harunuddin Mohd Asri and Visvaram Prekash. Both of them are the students of Information Security Department of Politeknik Metro Tasek Gelugor. They are also going to have their internship for 30-days starts from 27 April – 25 May 2019 in the industry partner of STIKI Malang.
The 3rd Batch of SEA-TVET Student Internship Exchange is held in collaboration with SEAMEO. The SEA-TVET Students Internship Exchange is a bi-annual program that accommodating the TVET students of Higher Education in Southeast Asia. STIKI has successfully run the 1st and the 2nd of SEA-TVET Student Internship Exchange on 2018. The objectives of this program are (1) to enhance global competitiveness, knowledge and technical skills of TVET students, (2) to improve inter-cultural understanding, regional perspectives, and English communication of students, (3) to provide employable opportunities for students, (4) to create a sustainable partnership among polytechnic and TVET college/institutions in Southeast Asia.
